Sup Guys,
So this was a pretty interesting week for the band. Aside from starting the blog and working on out own website, we've been recording songs and working on our demo. So far we have 8 original songs, and 2 Shinedown covers.
We worked on recording cover's of 'Breaking Inside' and 'Fly From the Inside', both Shinedown songs that all of us love. It was interesting working on the songs because, with Amber and Ashley, we had a different element to work with. But I think that we pulled it off pretty damn well. Hearing the final version of the two songs, I think we did a great job. The girls did an excellent job, as did the rest of the band.
Other than those two songs, we've recorded 8 of our own songs. We plan on getting some more done, but might just wait until we get our band out there and start rocking people's faces off. 'Running Away from Me'(consensus favorite song of the band), 'Wings of the Fallen', 'The Ascent', 'Prove It', 'Teach Me', 'Shadow of Myself', 'I Lust You Too', and 'Hate the World'.
Hopefully we will have a set release date soon, so be on the look-out for our demo. We will find a way to get it to you guys. We are going to set up a myspace soon as well. If you guys want to talk to any of us, you can e-mail the band or us individually.

Drew - Lead Vocals, Lyrics
Hey. I'm Drew Housen, the Lead Vocalist of Evenflow( the most kickass band EVER).
I am also the Co-Lyricist,along with T.J., for the band.
Background info..I guess I could tell you that. I've been singing since I was a tot, and loved it and kept singing and still loved it so I still do it. And now I'm trying to get famous and have girls throw their clothing on the stage as I sing to them with my rockin' band.
And, ladies, I do not have a chick-counterpart at the moment so if you want to audition feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

Prior to T.J. leaving the band I handled mostly Back-Up Vocals with Ashley. But once he left I took over the Synth parts and Percussive stuff as well. I've been singing since I was 9, and drumming since I was 14. Started playing piano when I was about 7.

It's T.J. So, as Chase mentioned earlier,we're going to be doing a stupid bio thingy so that our fans can get to know us.
And since we're all in one place at the same time(we're heading to see The Fray tonight. gonna be intense. Not as intense as our shows will be though) we decided to do this now and get it over with. And, of course, the jerks all elected for me to go first. So let's get this over with.

And since then I've been determined about doing 2 things: teching my own drumline, and rocking the world's socks off. Some people thought that my not playing drumset would limit my ability to do the latter, but we all know how badass Rush is with their Synth parts in their songs. And that's what I bring to our kickass band, Evenflow.

This is T.J. I'm basically the mastermind behind this whole operation. lol. I've always been writing songs and music is my obsession. And one weekend Sophomore year(geez that was an eventful year) I met some guys that wanted to start a band. And ever since then we've been planning things out. And now we're finally ready to start rocking the world.
I'm not quite going to do the whole life-story/bio thing yet. Instead I'm stealing Chase's idea and posting one of our songs. This one was written by myself and Alex. It's called Running Away from Me. Hope you guys like it. Let us know what you think.
p.s. Hopefully we will have an official website up soon and will put the mp3's to these jams on the website. if not we will find a way to get them to you. Hell, we might just end up e-mailing you all(whoever you guys are.) and getting the mp3's to you that way. But we will find a way, I promise.

Welcome to our blog. We are Evenflow. We are going to kick the music world's ass. We've been a project in the waiting for nearly 4 years, and have finally begun to take shape as a legit band. We're going to work on getting the mp3's ,of our stuff that we've recorded so far, to you guys(whoever you may be) very soon.
